Implementation of activity under project titled “supply, plant and maintain bamboo and agroforestry trees Funded by Environment (FONERWA) with Green Climate Fund (GCF) aiming at strengthening climate resilience of rural communities in Northern Rwanda with a nick name of “Green Gicumbi” implemented in 9 sectors of Gicumbi District, within upper Muvumba catchment. To protect riverbanks and gullies through bamboo plantation and integration of shade trees in tea plantation.

During this period, activities related to the holes digging and bamboo plantation are being progressing well in general. Where the plantation of bamboo are carrying out on riverbank pass inside the Tea Mulindi factory from Gatuna border.
