The Government of Rwanda through the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) has prioritized alternative ways of increasing agriculture production including taking advantage of irrigation facilities and different agricultural programs supported by irrigation schemes to modernize farming activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Environmental Protection, Construction and General Services Company \u201cEPECOTGE Ltd\u201d, subcontracted from AFCONS Infrastructure Limited & VIJETA PROJECTS and Infrastructure LTD. JV a work order for Excavation and Backfilling of 81.9km Pipelines in irrigation scheme distribution network in MAHAMA Sector (Lot-2), Kirehe District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this subcontract (Work order) implementation, excavation and backfilling are constructed for the placement of HDPE Pipes to carry out water for irrigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPECOTGE Ltd shall perform the total work of 81.9km. Currently the project progress reaches 65% of the completion under both excavation and backfilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
